The Siren's Yearning

According to the manual The Siren's Yearning Bard song should only affect enemies.

I'm currently in the penultimate room on lvl 5 of Dragon's Eye and the song affects Yuan-tu Elite, as well as my party members - they all made saving throws.

My Bard is evil; is that the problem?

Also when singing the song while no enemies are near nothing happens.

 

No idea if this is due to Tweaks, but I can't remember this ever happening in previous games with only Auril's Bane installed.
