Hello, I'm trying to get the widescreen mod to install on a clean HoW install with the 1.42 (Trials of the Luremaster) patch but I get this error:

Either you thought you did but didn't, or installed an unsupported game crack.

I did and the game clearly says it's updated to version 1.42. It is an entirely clean install, no crack has been used.

On checking the actual numbers, it appears that somehow you installed the WSM twice (which I thought impossible), or installed the non-WeiDU version first, or something like that. Try fully uninstalling all of IWD (and deleting the game directory) and then reinstalling it.
