Guest Data Posted July 19, 2008 Share Posted July 19, 2008 Hello from a newbie. After reading many of the messages in the forums I am a bit confused about what is the best way to install the fixpack. Currently I am under the impression that the most optimal results are achieved using the following installation style: 1. Unrar the v6 version to a clean (except patched ofcourse) bg2/tob installation 2. Replace the tp2 with the one from the hotfixes thread. 3. Modify the tp2 with the fix to the Holy Smite typo thing mentioned in the hotfixes thread. 4. Run the fixpack installer 5. Install other mods Is this correct? Also should I install the BETA core fixes? Are there any known problems there or have they been found to be safe? Thanks very much for any help! Link to comment
