Randall Good Posted August 10, 2009 Share Posted August 10, 2009 When I installed BG1 NPC Project, I first choose not to have the Banter Accelerator, but I soon regretted it. I went back and reinstalled it and it now shows up on my WeiDU log as having successfully installed. Unfortunately, after quite a bit of gameplay, I haven't really noticed too much of an increase in the banter. My impression is that the accelerator is supposed to attempt to find a relevant banter from any one of the NPCs every ten minutes and it's certainly not that frequent. Have I missed some step in activating the accelerator? Related, does this accelerator only affect the banter created by the modders or does it include the (very little) banter from the original as well? More specifically, does it increase the chances that Xzar and Montaron will fight Khalid and Jaheira earlier on? Link to comment
