Crashing in Tutu after installing widescreen patch

Hello,

 

I recently installed Tutu for BG 1+ 2 and its expansions and while it worked great, I decided to install the widescreen mod to make it a little easier to see on my screen. Ater I installed it however, I wasn't able to launch Tutu anymore without it crashing. I've tried all the suggestions in the common problems thread, I've tried installing and reinstalling Tutu, BG 1+2, the patches, and it's still not working. I'm running this on Vista, and I tried messing around with the compatibility modes and that isn't helping either. I'm out of ideas. can anyone help?

Oh and for the record I have not tried to reinstall any of the mods after the clean reinstall. I think there was another thread on this but there doesn't seem to be a solution yet.
