Unavailable skill choices

I just reinstalled this game for the first time after many years. I installed BG2, then the official patch, then the latest v9 BG2 fixpack from the gibberlings3.net site, then the tweakpack from the same site.

 

The problem I have is that when I started a new game and went through character creation, I chose a Kensai, and I had no choice of weapon styles...I could choose 'spiked weapon', large sword, small sword, and a few other weapon types, but I wasn't even offered any of the "two weapon style", sword and shield style, etc....none of those options were available.

 

Has anyone run into this problem?

The Tweakpack does this.

 

If you installed the "BG-Style Weapon Proficiencies, With Weapon Styles (the bigg)" component, the styles are available, but you need to scroll to the bottom to see them.

On the other hand, the "BG-Style Weapon Proficiencies, Without Weapon Styles (the bigg)" component does what it says on the tin and completely removes weapon styles. You can either remove it or substitute it with one of the other choices.
