Monk immunity

Hello,

 

I just began chapter 2, went to the copper coronet, and took Korgan's quest to get the book from the tombs.

 

While in the tombs, I found out about the fixpack, and I downloaded and installed it. No errors-- everything seemed fine.

 

My main PC is a monk, and in the tomb, he was struck by a ghast, and failed the save. The diseased icon went onto his portrait, yet I could see no effect of any disease, nor was there any text message in the box about any disease.

 

I thought the fixpack was going to remove the icon as well.

 

Did it not install properly? Or am I wrong about the immunity corrections in the fixpack?
