error with smarter mages without HLA for Spellcasters BGEEII

Hello-

 

I repeatedly received an error message whenever i tried to install smarter mages without also installing HLA for spellcasters. the installation would proceed as normal until I would get an error message involving the hla_cre file. I was able to repeatedly replicate the error message on a clean install of BG:EE II by not installing HLA for spellcasters and attempting to install smarter mages.

 

I'm new to this whole modding-error reporting thing, so I am not sure what files/logs to post but I have them, if you need them.
