Issue with enemies initiating dialogue at a distance (BGEE)

Just a minor foible: in BGEE, when you're going to confront Tranzig, he now initiates dialogue as soon as you go up the stairs in the inn. This isn't a major problem in and of itself (though it'd probably be better if the dialogue only triggered when you entered his room). However, it's a bit worse when you send up another character - who Tranzig presumably wouldn't recognise - and who is, regardless, invisible.

 

I generally prefer to steal some of the good items off of him before fighting him, as I'd be sparing him afterwards, so this kind of gets in the way of that. Even aside from that, it'd probably be more realistic, allowing the opportunity to scout, and all that. The feature's good in other circumstances, but I think it might need tweaked a bit here.
