Thief PC isn't being offered the guild

I installed this mod to see a few of the other strongholds, since I almost exclusively play thieves or fighter/thieves. I did Renal's quest with Nalia in my party, and she was offered the guild instead of my PC even though he is a thief. So, I tried kicking her out of the party before speaking to Renal. That time I wasn't offered the guild position at all.
