BG2 EE + EET Game stuck on High level abilities selection screen

I'm playing BG2 EE with Enhanced edition trilogy and other mods.

My main char just leveled up from lv. 18 to 19, but when I go to the HLA selection screen the game become stuck (screenshot below in window-mode, it happens also in full-screen).

I could chose a HLA (improved alacrity) the previous level-up without problem.

I've also chosen a second HLA for keldorn right now, as he also leveled up from 18 to 19, without problem.

Any suggestion on what can I do to debug and solve this bug?

Hi!

I think you are using Infinity UI++, and the problem is probably related to that.

You could ask about it in their topic, drunktiefling had some HLA screen related problems too, that he could solve somewhat:

If you are coding inclined, you could figure out something from his fork of the mod:

You will probably need the NearInfinity tool to edit the UI.MENU file:

I cannot reproduce this but I think I know what is causing it. There is a wrong scrollbar asset on HLA menu, which may cause crash on some systems.

Try to fix it by opening UI.menu file in the override and replacing all occurences of: rgpscrl with rgdscrl1
