From all the things I have read on your site about Aklon and the trinkets you have shared in the "talks" I am sure Aklon will be worth the wait.

Good writing takes time, especially if you want some good character development, aka a good relationship, some suspence, and of course . . . romance

Besides, with as fast as this year seems to be going, the wait will not be too bad, right?

Letting us know how things are going is definately appreciated too And it lets us give you encouragment in lieu of choclate chip cookies which don't travel nearly as well as these little postings.

Sorry, I digress . . .

Work spoils all our fun, doesn't it? Pity it's a necessary evil.

Yes, thank you, I'm feeling much better now. The fact that the illness fell right at a period of narrow deadlines at work really didn't (and still doesn't) help with the time factor currently.

 

Work (well, the deadlines bit) is what ails all of us, sadly.

Glad to hear that you are on the mend . . . . might I add chicken soup and a large box of tissue to Riviera's cookies and milk?

Wish I had a suggestion for work . . . . .

I think I speak for all of us when I say that you have put us in a conundrum. While we don't wish to rush you in the slightest, and don't want for Aklon to become a burden or a hassle, we are all eagerly awaiting the release with metaphorical baited breath. (I find that homemade lures are better when fishing, but whatever). So I would like to offer these things to you, once again on the behalf of the group (it's worth pointing out that none of the actual 'group' knew in advance that I was going to say this, but let's *assume* that they would all agree):

 

I would like to offer our sincerest hope that the tides of time wash gently over you, so that you are left with even more than you had ever hoped.

I would like to offer another hope, that inspiration walk with you wherever you go, and be your most loyal companion whenever you need it.

Finally, I would like to offer you a plate of cookies, of an indiscriminate type to be named later. Cookies always help me write, and I make very good ones. I have references!

The savage workload that slowed the writing up over the last couple of weeks has let up and I'm hoping to do some catching up this week. There's only 2 Aerie Romance talks to go, so hopefully I should be able to post a more complete update in the progress report thread very soon!

I for one feel a "happy-dance" coming on!

I can't wait! I know Aklon should be out pretty soon. You know, I think those of us who would NEVER let Aerie be romanced by Aklon, much less have her in the same party, should have a release for us and the Aerie-lovers can wait for the V2.

Well, I can hope, can't I?
