  1. Amazing - I changed the folder configuration and now the mods install fine. The game seems to work after installing, so looks like all is well. Thank you so much Jarno Mikkola and mickabouille, you've made me very happy!!
  2. Hi, Thanks for your reply! The folder the game is in is: /media/zen/workshop/mnt/modbox/bgee (symlinked from the original location /storage/Steam/steamapps/common/Baldur's Gate II Enhanced Edition). chitin.key (which appears as lowercase) is in /media/zen/workshop/mnt/modbox/bgee Mods are unpacked as subfolders into this same folder, using the same name they were extracted with, e.g. /media/zen/workshop/mnt/modbox/bgee/baldurs-gate-mini-quests-and-encounters-modification-v25.2 Weidu is also launched from this folder, and there is indeed a lang subfolder present, too, e.g. /media/zen/workshop/mnt/modbox/bgee/lang/en_us with dialog.tlk So that all seems OK as far as I can tell. Please note that the g3 tweaks anthology did install correctly, so some things are in the right place, and I wonder if the key is a difference between that mod and the others I tried to install.
  3. No luck so far, I'm afraid. If anyone is able to help with the error I posted above I would be very grateful - thank you!
  4. Hi, Thanks for replying and Happy Christmas! I used the default 'Extract here' command (which I believe calls the unzip function). It looks like the file structure is properly preserved in the unzipped folder but I will experiment with some other extraction methods and see if they help. Thank you!
  5. Hi all, Great to see that that the Baldur's Gate trilogy is still being modded and loved in its new Enhanced Editions, now on Linux too. I recently downloaded them but am having some issues installing mods for BG:EE. I am using Steam and Ubuntu 20.04. I followed corvias' instructions in the first post, after setting up my drive as per argent77's instructions regarding case-sensitivity. The BG1 NPC project v27.1 and mini quests and encounters v25.2 initialise but gave errors (see below for an example output), but the g3 tweaks anthology seems to have installed fine, and the game loads and plays with the changes from that mod, so I presume I have configured things correctly. So I suppose my question is, has anyone seen this kind of output before, and if so, do they know how to overcome it, or what differences there are between the abovementioned mods that may cause some to install but others to give this error? Please DM or post here if you are able to help. Thank you for your time!
