My Planetars do not regenerate despite the fact that they should regen 2hp/round. Is anybody else encountering this?

This spell is not showing on my fighter/cleric's spellist. What I find strange about this is that Viconia is able to cast the spell and it is in her spellbook. Is there some hidden alignment restriction I'm not aware of?
