I just finished the main campaign of IWD:EE and I want to start HoW:EE with EEFP. If I'll import my character from non-fixed playthrough - will he break?

Hello! I'm trying to add a new magical chain mail to IWD:EE through Near Infinity. Doing it with the "Export" function. Basically, I copy an existing armor to "override" folder under a new name then tweak it. Everything works fine, except that I can equip it with rings/cloaks of protection. Even though it's magical. This issue persist even if I straight up clone any magical armor without any changes. What gives? "Magical" flags is always checked.
