  1. Thank you for checking in on that! Also, I agree about the 4th wall issue and I also agree with the poster who said we should just use AD&D's description.
  2. I've confirmed there is a serious problem with the mage version of energy blades. I fixed the prior problem with EE Keeper (deleted the bow and made another). I decided to just cast energy blades again to see if it recreated the problem. This time the spell lasted only a few seconds (its duration is supposed to be measured in turns) and I couldn't attack anything with them. Please look into this one, EB was one of my favs with Imoen since she had the Thaco to back them up.
  3. Just started Throne of Bhaal. I cast Energy Blades on Imoen for the first time. After the spell expired, it would not let me unequip her shortbow nor allow me to cast a new Energy Blades spell (error: you cannot have more than one spell of that type active at the same time). Resting did not help. The bow remains immovable and the spell uncastable.
  4. Never heard of this bug before...is anyone else experiencing it? o.O What game is Baptor using? Playing on BGEE, I have noticed a few cases where spells display incorrect strings. BGEE doesn't share the exact same .tlk as BG2, so we will have to change some of the places to not use hardcoded string references. I experienced this bug on the original BG2 with SR v.3 and on BG2EE with v.4. Dunno if that helps.
  5. I am not sure if this is a SR bug or just a BG2 bug but.... Whenever you create a Simulacrum or Project Image of yourself, they banter incessantly about their spells failing, pick pocketing, and setting a trap. It doesn't affect gameplay but it is slightly annoying.
  6. I'll be honest, I've always dreaded the parts of BG2 where there are beholders or mind flayers. They are stupid powerful and require constant reloads. Just about every other fight in the game is a joke without something like SCS but beholders and mind flayers need no assistance.
  7. Could be that the image doesn't get the item bonuses... AND IT SHOULDN'T EITHER !Edwin has too many already anyways. Hmm, I'll have to check on that one. I think my charmain is getting her bonuses but I will make certain.
  8. I think I found a bug with Project Image. When I cast it on my charmain who is a sorcerer it works just fine. When Edwin casts it, the projected image has a severely truncated spell list. His Stoneskin spells are all gone and and some his spells he has multiple prepared (like Invisible Stalker) show just one prepared. Doesn't matter if he's fully rested and charged up or not. When the Image is dispelled, the real Edwin has all his spells as normal.
  9. Probability 1: 100 - to happen Probability 2: 0 - not to happen Stat value: 1 Efreet cannot be banished. I'm nor sure about servant, Demi said he made Banishment a no-save in the latest beta. Are you using it? You sir are a gentleman and a scholar. Thank you! Also, why can't Efreet be banished? Is there a list somewhere that tells us what can and can't be banished because I am under the impression anything summoned can be banished.
  10. Is the mod you're reffering to BG2Tweaks copmonent that strips effects from all such spells? Iirc, it sppamglo.vvc animation, try to use NI to add opcode 291 with a duration "permanent-while equiped". I went into NI to edit the cloak. I managed to add 291 (disable visual effects) and set target to "self," but the duration "permanent-while equipped" was not present. I chose "instant-while equipped" but it had no effect. Any advice?? I tried to banish an Efreet a Lich summoned to no avail.
  11. Hey everyone! Just got the part of the game where you get the Cloak of Mirroring. Though I have the mod installed which is supposed to turn the glowing shield animation off, it's still there, and I imagine that's due to Spell Revisions. Anyone have any idea how I can edit this away? I've got both Near Infinity and EEKeeper.
  12. I have a huge bug. Anytime anyone, including my own party members, casts the spell Chain Lightning, the game freezes for a few seconds and then my main character instantly dies and the game is over. Nevermind. I did not have the latest version. I do now, and the problem is resolved. Nothing to see here. BTW I am loving it!
  13. I assume the safest way to install the new build is to totally uninstall the old one first? Do I need to wipe out the old files and folders too?
  14. A BETA is being tested? Does this mean we are close to a EE compatible release? I would test it for you too if you are willing, I simply can't play BG without SR anymore.
  15. Hey guys. Any news on a release date? Last I heard was on or before the release of BG2:EE but that was a month ago. I know its just a hobby, but I really want to play EE with spell revisions!
