  2. Hi, I noticed that there are problems installing the component "Improved Slayer Transformation" from Ascension after installing the latest current version of EEFIXPACK.

    The error that appears during the installation of this component:

    WARNING: no effects altered on SPIN823.spl

    ERROR locating resource for 'COPY'

    Resource [slayer2.spl] not found in KEY file:

    [./chitin.key]

    Stopping installation because of error.

    I know its still in beta and compability with other mods is likely one of the lesser concerns for now but I thought it might be good to bring it to notice so that such issues beforehand.

    I hope I'm not being a bother with this.

  3. I've got a problem installing EE Fixpack on my Icewind Dale EE install. When I run it I get this:

    ERROR Locating resource for 'COPY'

    Resource [ghast1p.spl] not found in KEY file:

    [./chitin.key]

    Stopping installation because of error.

    Any idea what to do? I used the latest version on the github page. Core Fixes and chose English. No other mods installed. Steam version.

  5. Congratulations on releasing this mod!!!

    It shames me to admit that I had not managed to fully complete the beta version of the game due to RL stuff but I enjoyed Navarra's character as a strong and interesting woman while seeing how her bond with my male PC develops.

    The other forum where the discussion did go for this mod also vanished and it took me quite a while for Solaufein to confirm my register there in the first place. :(

    Looking forward to start a new playthrough and this time see Navarra's romance and character arc to the end^^

    A question: Is the ToB part also completed and if not then might the saves from this version work when imported to the version that includes ToB content?

    I guess the original coding allowed lovetalks to play both in SoA and ToB. I partly redid scripts in Sime and she will talk only in SoA. It's should be enough to see all ~20 talks.

    But then why Sime got an adaptation to EE despite them having a similar situation but Leina (probably) won't? 😢

    That said its a shame both did not get more for ToB in the original version... 😭

    Its the curse of many BG2 NPC mods that only get SoA content.

    Still hoping (but toned it down) that maybe Leina or Shar Teel content will get a EE version...

    Any plans for other parts of Vlad's compilation to get adapted? Like the Third Path or Restored Twisted Rune stuff?

    I believe that Sime had some small amount of toB content too. Like the master wraith scene and an epilogue. Maybe also Sime's reaction to becoming/rejecting a god of murder by the end.

    But yeah, I'm almost sure that I recall Leina having tob content despite playing the mod with her many years ago...

    Thats a shame, I did not even recall that Leina was only SoA. I remembered said romance fondly nevertheless.

    What about Shar Teel? I think she also got quests and interjections in SoA (I do not think she got a romance though) at least including a fair amount of banters with Leina too. Leina might have had talks with Sime as well if I recall well...

    Oh well...still hoping that maybe something will come out. Even if its just a beta.

    1) Applying it first should be done to all games (BGEE/BG2EE/PST/IWD) and not just BGEE, right?

    2) Also will there be a list of fixes posted somewhere?

    3) Do you plan to make some restorations too?

  10. Very nice to see it, after all while I love quests and NPC mods its hard to enjoy the game fully with bugs.

    A question: What is the best order for installing EE Fixpack? Should it be among the first mods installed or by the end akin to tweaks?

    Really? That would be great! I will be rather busy with holiday stuff organization for my family myself but I may have a bit of time today (and maybe tomorrow) to check it out a bit :)

    It sure would be a nice Christmas present. 😀

    Are there any requirements for the romance? Like gender, race or stats? Bioware NPCs did not mind a 3 charisma and 3 intelligence guy (or girl for Anomen) but perhaps they should be a bit more picky. :)

    Wow, seriously? So there has been some great progress since last year! Nice to see the mod doing well. :)

    Any idea of what it could be? I tried to install it on a clean BG1 SoD with a 2.5 version.

  16. So the best solution would be to just make this mod an addon to the original one? Like to play it one needs to original version.

    Did Weimer wrote a significant amount of content for Valen? It has been a long time since I played it. I only recall it availing Valen to be recruitable.

    Still...isn't Valen an original BG2 character? She was not created by Weimer.

    So if someone wanted to start Valen from scratch without using any of Weimer's resources then I see no need to get his permission. Getting in contact with modders who had long left modding will be almost impossible.

    IMO if you actually plan to use Weimer's version of Valen and expand it then write on top of the mod that Weimer is the one who provided the content upon which you improve the mod plus mention which stuff are you adding or changing. And that you will remove it if Weimer asks you to do so.

    Best to just go either via the add on route or making your own Valen mod from scratch I think. A separate add on to require the original Weimer mod or your own version .

    Really looking forward to it!

  18. Perhaps a bit off topic but I've checked Kitanna's webpage and noticed that there is a upcoming NPC mod named Navarra.

     

    Any news how its doing or/and some details about NPC?

     

    Still gotta fully finish my Calin run :)
