Blind Enemies?

[Hide and Seek]

Anyone else who have experienced something like this, when Enemies don't seem to realize that you're there until you hit them, and even then they just stand there until you kill them?

 

Or, in some cases, like Mencar in the Promenade, they fight you for a while, then stops, after a while they start again and finally they do nothing until you get them into panic mode.

 

So far: A Phase Spider in Trademeet, several Otyughs (not the one in Irenicus Dungeon, though), Mencar, Goblin Archers (sometimes) and Kobold Archers in the Temple Sewers.

Dumb AIs. I think some of their scripts are lacking

this and similiar type of coding in their scripts. The hesitation in some may be because of the game cycling through the script until it reaches something that is true.

Hm, that seems to be the problem, since they always stop moving right before the "attack move".

 

Is there any solution to this, or should I reinstall the game?

 

It's still playable, but no fun being in one-sided battles.
