Guest Guest
Hello there. I have installed eseries, which seemed the best scripts series . All is fine... except the backstabbing of my charname, who, obviously, is an assassin... I have been in many battles where my assassin (IA on and enabled) was given the order to go behind a mage or a warrior after being in another room to hide himself. Then, i expect the script to use the backstabbing stuff (yes, i read the scripts to try to... find the way to do this work). Normally they are 2 steps: 1) come in the back (with some variable check, race and so one and a sound/text to warn the player) 2) hit (with a "die bastard" i'd like to read). But, for now, against: orc, illithids, kuotuas, umberhulks... my PC did NEVER a single backstab otherwise than me using him to do this. And, NEVER says him "follow you" or the "i'm ready to backstab". But, he's almost everytime hidden (except when the script use hide&detect trick, which i have deleted to try some solutions in the script...), and he has a x7 damage ... Orc / illithid are perfectly backstab targets! (Manually, no problem with that). WHY does this not work? In fact, my charname won't go in the back of the ennemy. Main time, he just attacks them from the front... I've been trying some things for 4 hours now, and i'm still... nowhere. Please, help? Thanks! Link to comment
WizWom
The trick is to tell them to move in formation with the enemy to behind them. Then you have to script a wait for them to get into position. Once in position, you can backstab. You can get my script to do this at http://wizwom.is-a-geek.net/BGMods/ Link to comment
