Guest bubucaos
Hi I'm using gemrb 6.0 (ver 7479 ) in kubuntu 9.10 In the game BG2 I have problems killing the troll Torgal in D'arnise Casttle. I gave him 6 fireballs 2 mortal clouds ( lvl 5) 2 Icestorm and still is harmless. I can see the wounds in console. If i try to kill him with more magic i can lightly wounded him with 8 proyectiles (lvl 1) , 5 Acid Melf Arrows and many phisical proyectiles of acid and fire but in next round he become unharmed. It's a bug or i need more power? There is a way of killing him with a cheat or something? I don't know what happens because i did him many many damage and is unharmed Thx Link to comment
Avenger
If you managed to slightly harm him then it could be too fast regeneration. He is a tough one in the original game as well. But gemrb might make it impossible. ctrl-y works like in the original. Link to comment
Guest Guest_Fuzzie_*
If you pause, hover over Torgal, press ctrl-m (you probably need cheat keys enabled for that) and look at the console, is Torgal carrying a monhp1 item? If so, you probably have a buggy mod (old G3 Fixpack or other troll mod) installed. See http://forums.pocketplane.net/index.php/to....msg310159.html and http://forums.blackwyrmlair.net/lofiversio....php/t4235.html for reports I found. If Torgal isn't carrying such an item, please report back (and a savegame would be helpful). Link to comment

Guest Guest-OK
Not sure if this was a glitch in the original, but I could kill him instantly with the Cloudkill spell every time. Might be worth a try. Link to comment
Avenger
I doubt that worked in the original. It should be a gemrb bug. But i thought i fixed level based effects. Link to comment
Guest Guest-OK
No, I mean in the original not running GemRB. I don't still play BG2, this was ages ago Link to comment
