Marty Silverblade
http://img99.imageshack.us/img99/4307/problemwithbgmod.jpg Basically whenever I try to put anything in, it gives me that. I posted on the BioWare forums, and was told to post here (more details at that link). http://forums.bioware.com/viewtopic.html?t...85&forum=11 Apparently 'your platform detection blows'. Thanks in advance, Marty. Link to comment
berelinde
Did you do a full install? The default is for the "recommended" install, but if you're going to apply mods to a game, you should always do the full install. Because what I'm seeing is that you haven't got the movies installed anywhere. Link to comment
Marty Silverblade
I don't think I did a full install. I've got a folder in my BG install location called 'Movies', and it contains just MovieCD6.bif and Movies.bif. Why would I need the movies though? Anyway, is there a way around this or do I need to reinstall? Link to comment
berelinde
Because that's what the mod uses to detect for BG1. The movies are just a check to make sure other key files are in place, as well as the movies. There really isn't a way around. You're going to have to reinstall. Link to comment
Marty Silverblade
Ok, did a full reinstall and it worked. Thanks. Link to comment
