Is there wa way to defend against physic damage?

Those Mindflayers have attacks that do damage to you from a distance. Is there a way to shield against it? Like with spell immunity or something?

 

My chaotic command protected mage where nearly killed from those attacks.

Try Stoneskin + Protection from Magic Damage. Detonate (probably) does magic damage and Ballistic Attack (probably) does crushing damage.

I'd check to see if it'd work, but my one current SCSII installation is on another hard drive. One that's currently taking up space in my bookshelf.
