Something is wrong with Aerie

Hey, guys. As you might have gathered, something is wrong with Aerie in my game. She is being more annoying than usual.

 

I have the NPC flirtpack installed and right after Nalia's messenger comes to tell me that her father's funeral will start soon, Aerie wants to talk to me litterally every step my character takes. The dialauge you usually get if you click on Aerie with the NPC flirtpack installed, is now popping up automatically.

 

I can solve this somewhat by telling her I just want to be friends, but she keeps on stopping in the middle of her tracks to talk to my PC (my PC will acknowledge this by turning around), only this time nothing else happens. No dialauge window pops up.

 

It is only happens after Nalia's messenger has delivered the message.

 

Mods I have installed:

NPC flirt pack

BG2 Tweaks

Amber

De'Arnise romance by jcompton (possibly spelt wrong)

Banter pack

Romantic Encounters

 

I think that's all of them.

 

Any help on this matter would be very much appreciated.

 

I've tried loading an old save, but there is no change in Aerie's behavior after the messenger comes.

You'll need to uninstall this, as it enables multiple romancing(which both Amber and Nalia mods will try to shut down, hence your stuttering). The problem is not in NPC Flirtpack, in case you were wondering.

I didn't get the feeling that something was wrong with the NPC Flirtpack, really. It seemed to be working OK, so I suspected something else was causing the problem.

 

Edit: I uninstalled the Romance Cheats and Aerie is still acting strangely.

 

I'll return once I've followed the instructions the bigg posted.

You also need to decompile aerie.bcs and post here the block that contains "running block 50 of aerie.bcs".

I'm sorry, it seems I can't use Near Infinity. I've got two computers. One that has internet and the other one has Bladur's Gate and no internet. If I understand correctly, NI needs both Baldur's Gate and internet to operate?

 

I'm tempted just to try kicking Aerie out of my party and hoping that nobody else will start pestering me with flirts every second. Do you think it could work or might I mess up my game even more?

NI doesn't need the Internet to operate - you just need to download and install Java and NI itself; or, you could decompile aerie.bcs using WeiDU itself: copy any setup-XYZ.exe to WeiDU.exe if you don't have one, copy aerie.bcs from the override to your BG2 directory, and drag-and-drop it on weidu.exe; it will do some processing and emit aerie.baf (at which point you can post the relevant block of aerie.bcs).

I managed to figure out what it was you meant in your last post -- sorry I'm not too familiar with technical terms in BG. However, I don't know what you mean by setupXYZ. Do you mean any setup or is there a specific one that's supposed to be called that? I found the aerie.bcs in the override, but I couln't drag and drop it on the weidu file.
