Guest Vincent
Hello, I'm getting the EXE Patching Failed error. According to your post, I should report my game version. It's the PC DVD version 1.0.0.1 (according to what comes up when I click "Properties" for Torment.exe). I allowed the game to execute its autorun.exe to install PT, and then I went and did the "full install" that you recommended just in case. Here's the contents of the SETUP.WIDESCREEN.DEBUG file, just in case: WeiDU v 22000 Log C:\Torment\setup-widescreen.exe [./CHITIN.KEY] loaded, 178649 bytes [./CHITIN.KEY] 372 BIFFs, 12135 resources [dialog.tlk] loaded, 8041168 bytes [dialog.tlk] 106497 string entries [./autonote.ini] loaded, 9994 bytes [./beast.ini] loaded, 9985 bytes [./desktop.ini] loaded, 174 bytes [./Keymap.ini] loaded, 4012 bytes [./layout.ini] loaded, 18 bytes [./quests.ini] loaded, 33883 bytes [./SETUP.INI] loaded, 101 bytes [./Torment.ini] loaded, 1058 bytes Possible HD/CD Path: [c:\torment] Possible HD/CD Path: [c:\torment\CD1\] Possible HD/CD Path: [c:\torment\CD2\] Possible HD/CD Path: [c:\torment\CD3\] Possible HD/CD Path: [c:\torment\CD4\] Possible HD/CD Path: [c:\torment\CD5\] [dialogf.tlk] loaded, 8041168 bytes [dialogf.tlk] 106497 string entries [C:\Torment\setup-widescreen.exe] Using scripting style "PST" [dialog.tlk] claims to be writeable. the bigg
IIRC, the DVD version still doesn't have the official patch installed, so you'll need to DL and install that. Link to comment
Anomaly
I can confirm that. The DVD version is the unpatched 4 CDs version on one DVD. You have to make a full install manually, then install the official patch, then install widescreen. Link to comment
Guest Vincent
I just wanted to thank everyone who replied. I did the manual install and got the patch and when I tried it again it worked fine. And it looks fantastic! Link to comment
