Problem after reinstal

After having a problem with the widescreen mod, I did a complete reinstall.

Using my old WeiDU log to reinstall everything in the same order.

My old saved game seems to be working except the names of the two characters from mods have been changed.

Tashia is now "Was that you snoring last night, or my stomach growling"

and Tyris Flare is now "Alright then. Remind me when we set up camp and I'll tell you what I can."

Shadow Keeper can't find the strings for their real names.

Any way to change them back?

Will it effect future progress with then as they are?

The problem is that you're trying to use an old saved game with a new installation. Your strings will have been stored in your saved game. In order to get them to work, you need to install exactly the same mods in exactly the same order. Can be tricky. If you start a new game, all will be well, but until then, you ill probably have to live with flirt lines for NPC names.

I did that, but Tyris said some line about a werewolf, that I assume was meant for Cernd, who isn't in the team, so I just started a new game.

Just out of interest, I copied the String Reference Numbers from those characters in my new game "0x000130D4" to the old saved game & it fixed it.

I got my next love talk from Tyris, so the game knows who she is.

But my new game is only a team of 4 & I'm enjoying it more.
