Trouble installing BG2 Tweakpack

About half way through installing the BG2 Tweakpak I get the following error:

 

FATAL ERROR: Sys_error("dialog.tlk: Permission denied")

 

What do I need to do to get around this and finish installing the Tweakpak?

if you got that error it most likely means that you have a program running that is using the dialog.tlk file

make sure you aren't running the game, aren't running any types of game editors, aren't running another mod installation at the same time

 

also, check to make sure that you (if running Win 7/Vista/possibly XP) haven't installed the game to Program Files as windows these days protects the data located in there.

 

anything else which could be causing it.... idk
