Changing Resolution error in Planescape

I got the game running fine on my Windows 7 64 bit, but I decided the max resolution made everything too small and tried to change it by rerunning the widescreen setup program. What I got was this:

You need to install the latest patch (which would be Trials of the Luremaster if you're on Heart of Winter) and make sure you aren't installing the mod twice (which includes attempting to install it on EasyTutu or a cloned install when it is already installed on your main install).

Since you have this installed:

SETUP-GHOSTDOG'S-PST-UI.TP2 0 0 Installed

SETUP-GHOSTDOG'S-PST-UI.TP2 0 4 Installed

you had to install Ghostdog's mod after Widescreen. That mod is also patching the game executable file and Widescreen installer does not recognize the executable anymore because of that later patch.

 

You have to uninstall all the mods, one by one, in reverse order compared to that list

so PST-Tweak first, and so on until Ghostdog's UI mod. Then you shall be able to reinstall Widescreen and choose the new resolution.

 

Doing so will also solve another potential issue : Ghostdog's UI mod needs to be reinstalled to take into account the new resolution that you choose in Widescreen.
