tovical Posted January 24, 2014 Share Posted January 24, 2014 Whether running GemRB by using the file "GemRB" or trying to use "gemrb" in the terminal, I get an error message that GemRB cannot be found. The instructions for installing GemRB in the wiki are a little tough to follow for me since I'm still learning Linux, but I am reasonably sure I got each step right. If nothing else, I got no error messages in the terminal when I installed it from source. Does anyone have any suggestions? Link to comment
SyntaxError Posted January 25, 2014 Share Posted January 25, 2014 in order to use any linux binary from the CLI without its path it needs to be located in a location found in the $PATH variable (echo $PATH). There is nothing stopping you from running it with an absolute path from the terminal. Link to comment
