BG1 Portraits are unclickable

Hi all,

I just installed GemRB on my Asus Memopad tablet (gemrb version from playstore) and while playing the original Baldur's Gate, the portrait column is completely buggy.

 

1. When first resuming a game, the portrait column doesnt display but instead the section where it should be is just blocks of the load screen.

 

2. If I go into inventory the portraits appear and function normally within this and other menu screens.

 

3. When I go back to the play view, the portraits display but nothing happens when I click on a character portrait (so I can't select or target a character by it's portrait)

 

Has anyone seen this before and if so, how do I fix it?
