Widescreen Mod not Expanding the Cursor Window Correctly with Win10 Pro 20H2

Hi.

I recently did a clean installation of BG (Classic) Saga via GoG on Windows 10 version 10H2 OS Build 19042.1165 with the following:

- BG1varFIX_v2

- BG1-Unfinished-Business-v16.4

- The Tweaks Anthology v9

- Widescreen-v3.08

 

widescreen expanded the resolution, but not the cursor window to allow the game to scroll/pan. Please refer the 2 screen captures to show the spinning course showing at the wrong and smaller window of approximately 640 x 480 resolution. I've re-installed a number of times and/or with different resolutions, but the cursor window is the same.

 

Has anyone experienced this issue?

Which I though was fixed for TotSC starting with widescreen mod v3.06

I don't have a CD-ROM installed at the moment... so I can't investigate.

Hi Aqrit,

I reviewed the thread, and tried the patch, but it made not change in fixing the issue. 

I've done some more tests by having a clean installation of the GoG BG - The Original Saga and applied only the Widescreen mode, and issue is consistent.

I suspect cause is due to the latest changes in Windows 10 bundled DX legacy drivers, as I recall a couple of years (2-3) ago I had Widescreen mode working on Windows 10 without this issue.
