subtledoctor Posted March 15, 2022 Share Posted March 15, 2022 I don’t remember if Luck is actually involved at all. It’s been a long time since I worried about this. My recollection is that the damage and/or spell level are inverted. Like, if you get hit by a 30-point greatsword crit you will be guaranteed to cast the spell; but a 2-point scratch from a dart is sure to break your concentration. Messing with Luck won’t fix that. Anyway Luck is too involved with too many other systems in the game, not least of which are mirror images. I don’t like the vanilla “everyone always loses their spell if they take any damage,” but at least it is (usually) fair. Quote Link to comment
