ewelsh42 Posted November 29, 2023 Share Posted November 29, 2023 (edited) The change in v35 from the 3 separate innate abilities that add 5% thief skills to including the extra skill points in the level up screen doesn't work quite right for me. I can assign all 40 points to Imoen, but only the first 25 points in any one skill take effect. If, once a skill would have had the maximum points in v34 added to it, any of the additional 15 points added to it will be lost upon finishing the level up. For example: 25 Open Locks + 40 points in Open Locks --> 50 Open Locks. If I only add 25 points to Open Locks, and then spend the remaining 15 on another skill, that works fine, no extra points are lost. But if too many points are added to a single skill, the extra points vaporize when the level up finishes. Is there any setting I can change to revert to the old 3 innate abilities behavior, such as a .ini file, or easy edit to a source file? That always worked fine. I did a relatively minimal install for debugging purposes: various BG1 Unfinished Business components; Random Rolls modified exe; EEex:0,1,2,5; stratagems:4100; EET_end; A7-HIDDENGAMEPLAYOPTIONS-INSTALL_ALL Edited November 29, 2023 by ewelsh42 typo correction Quote Link to comment
