Jcobb42tn Posted January 21 Share Posted January 21 Have an issue when installing the AI Component for SCS for BG, where it says it cannot convert a file. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the game a couple times and it still has this issue. Is there a way to fix this one issue manually or some way of fixing it so the AI component can get installed? DavidW Posted January 21 Share Posted January 21 OK, looking at the error message and the file, I think probably another save file (probably SAVEMONK) extends to level 50, and SCS is getting confused by that and expecting SAVEWIZ to be defined up to level 50 too. I can reproduce this bug on that assumption. Anyway, my macro should be more robust than that. Here's a more robust version of the relevant library. Drop it into stratagems/sfo2e, then try installing again. lib_data.tph Quote Link to comment

It installed Arcane after the fix last month, but it seems that the Divine Spells would install for BGEE normally but not for the 2nd game. DavidW Posted February 25 Share Posted February 25 It looks as if you have some component that's setting Dorn's level to zero, and that's confusing the component. In the short run setting his level to 1 in Near Infinity will probably solve the problem, though I should probably do something my end too. Quote Link to comment
