New Game Required?

If anybody is still checking the forum, I have a small issue. The readme said as long as the NPC wasn't in your party then the kit change should work. I went and picked up Cernd, my first time out of city in the new game, but he is still a Shapeshifter. The only change was that his equipment was shaded out and said not equipable, but otherwise still the regular Cernd. Any ideas? Guess i have start a new game, hope it warks or the extra couple hours for nothing will suck.

NPC Kitpack doesn't make any changes to Cernd. You're probably thinking of NPC Tweak.
