I kind of like the idea of time travel in a sense. Make the party earn NO xp during the IWD sections of their journey and are acting as merely part of some grand scheme as some pawns for either a wish spell or some gods. That way you can experience it with your current party and still have it make sense.

Either way the concept didn't receive much feedback (from which I assume there is not much enthusiasm for a completely new worldmap mod) and it turned out 1 of the supported mods places areas far beyond the working area presented here (near Thay), so this idea is currently put on hold. I've managed to fit the IWD-in-EET areas on the BP-BGT Worldmap after all, so there is no immediate need for a replacement.
Now that is too bad, because I loved this new map idea. Maybe I should post here often so you see that support? haha.

An additional note: RC7's weidu was very laggy, like it would take a second or so before my input would be registered maybe it was related to that.. RC6 didn't have that problem either.
I'll probably stick with RC6 for now since RC7 doesn't seem to contain crucial fixes. I'll report back should I change my mind and decide to do another installation with RC7.
I have also had this issue. But also had issues with the ai component not initializing and installing. This caused all of SCS (or the majority of it) to not install.
I'm also unsure if this is related, but Jim's Fixes and Tweaks doesn't seem to work in the install either with Fix Ascension with SCS Abazigal/Irenicus/Celestials (this could just be something that needs to be fixed in that mod).

Anyway, my advice stands. However, I do enjoy it as is. But that's me, I don't mind posting all that stuff because I know who to talk to and where to post, so I can see why others would feel uneasy.

Hey DavidW. I wouldn't worry about that. If you asked her she would stop, I'm not sure how much she comes her at all (though I know she does occasionally). However, each time someone has asked on her forum to have it removed she has done so. If you're worried about it, ask. She has been accommodating with requests.
She may just see this as the "best" version. Even if it's not quite there yet.

Roxanne does that for just about everything. It's easy to navigate for the most part and it's one of the reasons I enjoy using the tool. I prefer to have the install tool use the newer version even if it is a release candidate so that I can find what it working for the install that I want. I know that isn't always what people like, but it's preferred for me.

What needs to be done to push a 31.1? Looks like it's done already, just a release then?

Yeah I'm wanting to know if this will be done in 31.1 soon to try out the F&P updates put out and see if I can finally get this massive install done.

That'll depend on what happens in SCS v32 I think. Depends on DavidW does there (which may take a while).

I am not really supporting the maintenance release (I'm only semi-around at the moment and didn't keep close track of it) but I'll have a look if I have a chance to see if I can tweak whatever's not working in my v32 alpha fragment.
Awesome, I await it. I won't be able to do an install really until it's solved anyway.

Yeah, an SSD laptop. Windows on bootcamp to be precise. But I know I'm not the only one having this issue as well, at least with large installs. Thing is the DavidW fix that was on the master on my previous install sped it up considerably, but going back to the V31 has had the same problem for me.

I have left the install on since I posted yesterday. I have moved, albeit very very slowly. I'm up to ARENAHO9. This is the exact same behavior I had before the SCS 31 was updated. DavidW had changed things in the master that made the process much much quicker but just had the issues with what I shared earlier. I believe if those issues were fixed, then all the issues I've had so far would be solved.

Oh I was just testing the install to see if it was working. I load in as many mods as possible to test it out. I did notice a few of the files missing, as it says in the debug file and the install log.

Sorry for being such a pest, but new install was going very well until this issue. The install is still ongoing and I', hoping a fix can be done manually, but if not I don't mind redoing it all again

I'm on the install now and this problem doesn't seem to be affecting PC's.

CamDawg, does this mean that whatever ailed Greenhorn shouldn't affect an EET install? Or is it best to wait and see if you turn up anything that also affected EET?

I had this very conversation on the Beamdog forums last year. I'm sure many of them remember this haha, as it got quite heated. I actually have a personal mod database that only a few on this forum have access to. It was originally supposed to help modders move over to Github as the primary source of downloads. Right now it sits in obscurity, but the list is quite extensive.
