Item Revisions Spell Revisions... ? would that infer that wide screen needs to go before item revision / spell revision? is it good practice to install UI and wide screen mods before content mods like item and spell revisions? in an older tutorial that includes a recommended installtion order I read that UI mods are best installed at the very last. I'd imagine it would be a disaster if you are not satisfied with UI elements or resolution and want to change it midway as you would have to uninstall all the mods that come after the UI mods. ...also for classic BGT. Regarding installation order, are there automatic sorting tools or an actively maintained big database? are there mod managers? does project infinity work for classic BGT? or should I just refer to The Big World Project/Big World Setup and do it manually, in addition to recommended order in the tutorial post in the forum for installation order? PS: Is near infinity a good save editor for original BGT? or is shadow keeper still needed? does shadow keeper work with win 11?
  2. regarding tweak anthology's compatibility with spell revision. How do I look up compatibility between two mods? for tweak anthology and spell revision's compatibility for example. spell revision does not have compatibility info in its documentation. tweak anthology's info section does not say compatibility with spell revision or spell mods in general. would "Alter Mage Spell Progression Table" Alter Druid Spell and Level Progression Tables" "Alter Ranger Spell Progression Table (previously known as Rangers Use Icewind Dale-Heart of Winter Spell Tables [grogerson])" etc.. conflict with spell revision (do they add spell slots or available spells themselves? what are "spell-tables?") and if Alter Ranger Spell Progression Table (previously known as Rangers Use Icewind Dale-Heart of Winter Spell Tables [grogerson]) makes ranger able to cast higher level spells with more spell slots, would that affect the unique spell slot progression of cleric / ranger class (I want to play this class in my next playthru)? should i just leave this option out if i want cleric / ranger to have all druid spells? #### Also, can stalker class dual class in classic BGT with mods? Stalker class is said that "In the non-Enhanced version of Baldur's Gate II, stalkers could not dual-class with Throne of Bhaal installed." Stalker | Baldur's Gate Wiki | Fandom Does tweak anthology or other mods that could change it? I searched around the documentation of tweak anthology, but there is nothing about making stalker possible to dual class. or do they fix it in bgt already? ?(or do i need that TobEx thing?)

Dudleyfix for BG1 NPCs components- If I read it correctly, does it change Edwin to a normal conjurer without 1 extra spells per level that comes with his amulet? Also is it still recommended to use this component as we have bg2fixpack?and i understand that bgee already incorporates the fixes? 3.Does this mod also fix the following things with NPCs in oBG2 mentioned here? "Haer'DalisHis starting pick pocket has been improved compared to the original game.ImoenImoen has had her thieving abilities improved compared to the original game.   4. I also noticed that 1.3 ee has better graphics like the oBG. Is it a viable thing to use v1.3 though, since it's probably rampant with bugs and incompatible with mods.
  5. It happens when you see fire textures of bonfires, torches, lanterns and some magical orbs that serve as sources of illumination. The lighting looks like crap. Smoke from chimneys, that column of light from draw upon holy might all look pixellated but not so severe as background lighting. Is it the limitation of upscaling old textures?
  6. Buric the unyielding in dragomirs tomb will turn hostile even if you persuaded him to give you the key. Tested with a 17 charisma character, 18 with ring of human influence.
  7. What kinds of mods can be uninstalled or updated mid-game? Can I uninstall some of the components of unfinished business in bg2 ee if I dont like them? How about AI mods? I am considering updating enhanced powergaming scripts from v7.3.1 to the newest mid-game but i am worried it would break things.

  9. Thx. What creatures should I test my spells on? I tried it on goblins. I would like to try other monsters with low hp but Wikia doesn't have thie codes so I can't spawn them.

  11. What is the big world project? I thought it was a megamod one-button installation package. I looked up the pdf a while ago and I dont know how to look up mod order recommendations or anything like that. How do you find mod installation order in such a big list of mods? I am doing it manually. i thought PI was for experienced players who want to have a function to store and alter their mod order more conveniently and it asuumes they already know the mod order proper? Could it help a beginner sort mod order too?

  13. My game is bg2ee v2660. The visual effects of petrification and freezing won't show up in my game. When I hover over the petrified or frozen enemies the status is dead, but they just look like they are stopped in place with no hp. I tried reinstalling the game, start out a new character but nothing works. I used cone of cold, wand of cold, and chromatic orb to produce the frozen or petrification effects. No mods. Freshly installed. I have both gog and steam copies of the game they both have the issue.
  14. I need some more help. Visual effetcs of petrification and freezing are not shown in bg2ee. When I caused an enemy petrification or frozen death they just halt in place and behave normally only that when you hover over them the tooltip says they are dead. WeiDU.log
  15. thx. Could I ask a question about importing SoD saves to bg2? I really like those importable items and I want my spellbook as it is at the end of SoD, but I am worried levelling up so much in SoD would cause SoA to be too easy for fun. Is it then advisable to create a fresh SoD save at the beginning, edit in importable items to the inventory and spells to the spellbook with eekeeper, and import from that save? Would there be negative consequences like some global values are wrong when you import and it messes up with bg2? Or should I import from a bg1 save and edit the global variables "''BD_HAVE_SOD" and "BD_SODIMPORT## "''with eekeeper?

  18. When you are in the albino wyrm cabe in area bd5100 from SoD, if you exit too quickly the dialogues by companions won't trigger. And if you go to the spot for putting down the explosive the dialogues for the eyrm cave will trigger belatedly in place of the dialogue prompt that lets you put down the explosive. V2.660

I have v2.660 SoD. Another trivial matter is that the rewards from freeing petrified statues in the woods due west at coast way crossing are weird. Some of them give a single magical arrow.   20. I have not been able to install the mod with resolution greater than 720. it fails when i try to instal the mod with a resolution of 1366x768 for example SETUP-WIDESCREEN.DEBUG WeiDU.log
  21. If you add a custom ability to PC in bg1ee and import to bg2ee. Would it cause problems? Also if you install that faster walking speed component from tweak anthology which adds an ability that's scripted to turn on and off faster movement speed outside battle, will it get bugged when you import to bg2 with that ? Would installing the same component prevent any foreseeable problems with importing from that save?

I just looked it up but got confused. what do those 3 int values in command 'CreateItem("<string>",<int1>,<int2>,<int3>)' represent? number of item, charge and what else? which int value is for which? how do i create a robe of good archmage? how do i create a wand? whats a good place to look up console commands, item / area codes? thanks in advance
