What’s the significance of “d5shout”? That file isn’t used in the SCS implementation of shout or great shout.

I did another test  on another file that claims to be wizard shout with this out come.

Can't reproduce. Shout and Great Shout exist on my install, both as spells and as scrolls.

I used weidu to check to see which mods were impacted D5SHOUT and it seemed like  this is what it came up with as a result.

So, nothing about SR or iwdification from SCS impacting it. I assume the only logical thing to do is to not use revised bard components or so? If you have any advice i'm all ears.

  3. Hmm, it doesn't seem SCS iwdification comes with shout/greater shout. Is this in the works of being implemented? No scrolls of it exist, though some stuff on EE keeper tells me a certain form of shout exist in one way or another. Though greater shout doesn't.

In regards to summon monster 9, perhaps it is because i have spell revisions but summon monster 9 doesn't exist either for me. I'm currently all on latest installation.

I don't touch Ghoul Touch or Chill Touch, and a quick test suggests they're working normally.

I can reproduce the problem with Lich Touch. Amusingly, it's actually a bug in IWD:EE, i.e. I can reproduce it on unmodded IWD:EE too. My code is just carrying the bugged version over (the IWD spell system in SCS is auto-converted from IWD:EE files). Still, I'll do a fix when I have a chance.

When you get a chance, can you copy and paste the fixed file version here so i can past it in my override folder? Thanks.

The problem i was having is that, if i casted chill touch/ghoul touch and was attacking this dwarf outside the cave in the SoD expansion. (The one who left his friends and ask you to go in) it for some reason would do minimum damage. Maybe it was a component in a mod to do less damage to allies? Dunno.

I can confirm this issue on RC 8. In particular, the spell does 1d10 cold damage upon a failed Save vs. Paralysis -----> It should do 1d10 cold damage with no save and paralyze the target upon a failed Save vs. Paralysis (however, the spell description states nothing about the duration of the paralyzation......)

Yeah, not only that but chill touch and ghoul touch also don't work as they should either, they do 1 damage instead of a roll of d6/d8 respectively. I'll see if the secondary effects are taking place with an edit to this post.

Lich touch doesn't seem to do damage period for me.

EDIT - it seems elemental damage is minium for certain enemies, Or at least dwarfs? Chill and ghoul does the normal damage it should against a moose and bear i tested against. Lich touch doesn't do anything.

I can reproduce HLA spells disappearing when you export the character. I can reproduce it on BG2EE, vanilla ToB, and BGT - and the relevant code is identical between v31 and v32.

I think you'll have to live with it for now - I'm not at all sure what's causing it and it's relatively niche. Once I've got a stable v32 I'll try to come back to it.

Can you investigate lich touch on 32 v7? It seems to hit but no damage or save is  provoked?

I can't reproduce any of this on v32 release candidate 7: all three spells work fine. The problem with Cat's Grace occurred on v32 release candidate 6 and earlier - are you using the latest version? (Because of the G3 downtime, version 7 was only advertised on Beamdog, so it's easy to miss it.)

The version of SPWI411 you have uploaded is very weird and makes reference to files that don't exist in vanilla BG2EE, IWDEE or SCS, so here (and perhaps with Curse too) I think you are probably encountering compatibility problems coming from some other mod.

Here is my weidu log, perhaps this will be a bit more clear. From what i am seeing, i can't find a version. I installed things via a BWS esque alternative ran by another person. My install took place on november 26 of 2018.

As to your latter comments, if emotion despair isn't add from this mod, hard telling where it came from. Maybe it was spell revisions but i'll have to ask and see maybe?

Secret word is not meant to remove dispelling screen. Dispelling screen is there to protect against spells that remove specific and combat protections but it is not a spell protection itself so it should not be removed by a spell protection removal like secret word or spell thrust. It won't however, block any spell protection removal

    For anyone who's unsure,

breach/dispel magic are meant to remove stoneskin (and similar defensive spells) ===> Dispelling screen protects against the first removal.

Spellthrust/secret word/spellstrike are meant to remove spell deflection (and similar spell protections) ===>  Spell shield protects against the first removal

The confusion with this tree comes because spell deflection also protects against breach (as well as any other single target spell) for balance reasons.
Here is a very simple example (without invisibility)

    Mage is protected by

    Stoneskin
    Minor Spell Deflection
    Dispelling screen

In order to wack the mage with a weapon your dispelling order would go like this

Dispel Magic ==> dispelling screen dissipates
Secret word ==> Minor spell deflection drops
    Breach ==> Stoneskin removed

If anyone is interested I can do a more indepth mage dispelling flowchart using some of the SCS mages with many more layers protecting their stoneskins

I was just confused because spell thrust/secret word in their descriptions were telling me otherwise. Maybe a mistake then.

  9. More feedback gang, it seems secret word doesn't remove dispelling screen as it should, it seems you have to remove it with a breach or so.

Neither does spell thrust remove dispelling screen.

  10. Hey everyone, i'm someone who is using the iwdification component that is part of SCS and it seems we have a few issues that i'll highlight from my experience.

    - Curse, Curse seems not to show up on the list of a cleric and if added manually to the list, it seems to cast with the stipulation that the caster is impacted as well as his enemies.

    - Cat's Grace seems to be totally busted. The spell only gives 1 dex if at all to of any class. No rolling or anything.

    - Emotion:fear, Doesn't work. It's suppose to provide thac0 penalties and dcreased AC, But it has no effects that go off and instead just acts like a melee spell forcing the caster to save for no effect, it's portrait on the menu is different from casting as well going from the broken red heart to a purple like shadow magic icon when it has been memorized. I've uploaded it here to see what you guys can do.
