I was surprised to see a Basilisk ignore the nearest attacking enemies to just use his gaze on my main character (who happens to be the only caster in the game). Wouldn't you think that monsters with low intelligence should see in the nearest enemy the most immediate danger? Link to comment

It's chance: basilisks gaze-attack the nearest 4-5 creatures at random (though after a round or two they stop targetting protected opponents). Link to comment
