I'd like to start by saying that RE is an amazing mod and you guys are doing great work.

 

I've enjoyed all of it that I've seen, but I've gotten stuck on two encounters the Aimi and Sheri ones. In both cases I'm pretty sure I have to rest in their inns to progress the romance - only when I buy a room and sleep nothing happens. I've tried using the console to set the flirting variables to one, but nothing changes. Any clue what's happening?

Yes, and I got Aimi to agree to meet with me after her work.

I noticed once outside this mod that something similar happened when I slept in an inn and when I woke up Viconia was made at me for refusing to sleep with her even though there wasn't any dialogue for that - could this be something wrong with my game?

This is your problem.

 

But, really, I'd say your entire installation is dangerous, because installing Fixpack after various mods(including Flirt Pack), then installing more mods, then installing Fixpack - the game text update, _then installing Ease of Use_(which should be installed in the beginning only, or, better still, use G3 Tweaks instead) and TS in the end - it's asking for trouble.

 

If you can work it out only by deleting the component I mentioned - cool.

 

But in the future, here's what I recommend:

 

- BG2 Fixpack - installs before other mods(RE, NPC flirt, etc).

 

- If you want to install older mods(Ascension, Ease-of-Use), or "big mods"(TS), install them in the very beginning.

 

- Then, and only then, go NPC mods, romance mods, small quests and RE.

Wow - can't believe I missed that. Thanks for the help and advice; I'm uninstalling it now and I'll give an update when it's done and I test out the dreams. I'll be sure to keep those tips in mind for the future.
