Viconia stutters

Hi everyone!

 

Just starting out a new game (Tutu) and want to pick up Viconia south of Beregost (SCS moved her). After joining she stutters while walking (moves a few feet and then stops). This makes the game unplayable, and I really want her in the team so I'm asking you people for help.

 

If it's any help it's also seems to be a problem when removing her from the team. Instead of the usual dialog where I can let her join again I get the dialog I get when force talking her in the party. The Avatar morphing script does not work on her either.

This should be auto-skipped on Tutu - it's a bug in BG2 Tweaks if it isn't. Anyhow, don't install it on Tutu as I'm pretty sure the interjections are BG2 only.

 

You might want to skip this one too - I've seen reports of it causing the behaviour you note:

I tried removing the two tweaks you mentioned Miloch. It didn't make any difference but then I only have a save file with Viconia already in my party. Do you think I'll have to start a new game for the changes to work?

 

EDIT: I'll try BGT and see if I can get it to work.

Probably, or at least revert to a save from before they joined your party. Which might be tough in the case of Imoen :fish:. Unfortunately, variables and other things are stored in saved game files. Now that I'm looking at the code for More Interjections, it shouldn't really harm anything on a Tutu install, but who knows.

 

I think I've seen this reported on BGT too, so I would try replicating it on a new Tutu game without those components first before you move to another platform.
