GarinaRayne Posted January 13, 2009 Share Posted January 13, 2009 When I install the Imoen component, she appears in Irenicus' dungeon with equipment, but without any weapon proficiencies and with only 1 spell slot per level. (I install her as a multiclass thief/mage, no kits.) She doesn't gain any by levelling up, either. I don't know if anything different happens when you reach Spellhold, because I decided to uninstall her component so I could play through without her being useless. Any ideas? I installed ToB and official patches FixPack v7 then Lv1-NPC v1.2 And those are the only mods installed. Tried to change Imoen into Bounty Hunter, She ended up level 6/10 thief/mage, no wpn proficiencies. Link to comment

BloodBeast Posted January 29, 2009 Share Posted January 29, 2009 Funny Thing is, her stats are the same as ~imoen6.cre~ no matter what I change her to, like a Kensai, she would still appear as level 6/10 thief/mage. another funny thing is, if I take ~imoen10.cre~ and rename it as ~imoen6.cre~ in the override folder, then she would appear as level 7/8 thief/mage, no matter how I modify her with level-one-NPC. Is there something really messed up with my version of baldur's gate? I usually delete the ~override~ folder and every file not in a folder to undo my mods. And then copy the unmodded ~override~ folder and all the unmodded files back, in order to start an unmodded game. What am I doing wrong? Link to comment

That could perhaps cause this sort of strangeness. (Right-click and look at properties on the override dir and a random file in it.) But then I'd expect the mod install to fail, though.
