G3: Widescreen Mod v2.3 Now Available

The Widescreen Mod by the bigg offers a new update. The Widescreen Mod allows Planescape:Torment, Baldur's Gate: Tales of the sword Coast, Baldur's Gate II: Shadows of Amn, Baldur's Gate II: Throne of Bhaal, Icewind Dale: Heart of Winter and Icewind Dale II to be played at previously unsupported resolutions, like those of widescreen monitors. The changelog for v2.3 includes repair of doors not turning up in their open status in PST/BG1, French and Spanish translation, and a GemRB version. To upgrade is completely safe and recommended for PST, BG1 and GemRB. The upgrade is non-meaningful on the other games and can therefore be delayed until you start a new game (in particular, the translations don't affect the game, but only the installation). The Widescreen Mod is available for Windows and Linux.
