the bigg Posted May 8, 2010 Posted May 8, 2010 Check that you have installed the non-DX8 patch (WSM is incompatible with the DX8 patch for BG1). Also, WSM is incompatible with the Japanese version, so a similar bug might be responsible. I suggest you to play with either Tutu and/or BGT, unless you have reasons to play plain BG1.
Guest IceRock Posted May 8, 2010 Posted May 8, 2010 Check that you have installed the non-DX8 patch You speak about this patch? I try install it (change bgmain2.exe), but it not work with same error.
Guest IceRock Posted May 9, 2010 Posted May 9, 2010 That's the one you should not install. So please give link on patch, that must be installed.
the bigg Posted May 9, 2010 Posted May 9, 2010 http://downloads.bioware.com/baldursgate1/...lesIntl5512.exe You can only install it if you never installed mods (except for failed attempts to install WSM), otherwise you need to uninstall BG1 and reinstall from scratch.
Jarno Mikkola Posted May 9, 2010 Posted May 9, 2010 ...otherwise you need to uninstall BG1 and reinstall from scratch. And be sure to remove all the files in the game folder before the reinstall is done, so to get a clean install.

My game release already have latest patch 5512 and installation is clear. May be my game release include DX-patch? How i can test it?
