Runescarred Posted July 11, 2010 Posted July 11, 2010 Hi people , I have a question concerning translating English phrases into Elvish. Could someone be so kind and recommend me a good online translator? I have a really hard time finding a decent one, and am not devoted enough to learn Sindarin or Quenya just so I could scribble some lines in a fanfic... Thanks in advance!
berelinde Posted July 11, 2010 Posted July 11, 2010 The Grey Company used to have a decent Forgotten Realms elven dictionary, though it was never an online dictionary. Do not attempt to google that link. It will bring you to a site that wants to"scan" your computer for a non-existent virus, probably infecting your computer in the process. About the only one I was able to find using google is here.

jabzor365 Posted November 5, 2010 Posted November 5, 2010 Hi people , I have a question concerning translating English phrases into Elvish. I have a really hard time finding a decent one, and am not devoted enough to learn Sindarin or Quenya just so I could scribble some lines in a fanfic... Thanks in advance! I know on a never winter nights RP server I played on that was a drow underdark and also a surface and Undercommon city that housed Duergar or Tieflings svirfneblin orcs ect had a elven translator. where they got it i dont know but it was built into the server. http://www.arelith.com/underdark http://www.arelith.com/ but i found that Role playing drow was not really the greatest thing to me.. Due to the fact you are harassed by other players every other turn if you are a new Jaluk I rather just admire its culture from a far and talk about it study it then to actually try to live it through a keyboard. or just got to LFR or gencon, or talk with people online or at WotC or comic stores.
