The Widescreen Mod by the bigg offers players of Planescape: Torment, Baldur's Gate: Tales of the Sword Coast, Baldur's Gate II: Shadows of Amn, Baldur's Gate II: Throne of Bhaal, Icewind Dale: Heart of Winter and Icewind Dale II play at previously unsupported resolutions, like those of widescreen monitors. The changelog for v2.50 includes fixing search maps in PST and BG1, some fixes to the French readme, and the ability to successfully install on the GemRB version of PST and BG1. The update is non-meaningful on BG2, IWD1 and IWD2; on BG1 and PST, the update breaks save game compatibility but fixes a meaningful bug. Widescreen v2.50 is available for Windows and Linux.
