V2.60 won't install on IWD1

I've just installed Icewind Dale 1 after a loooong gap (maybe I'll finally finish the game this time), but have discovered that I can't get the Widescreen mod to install. I was initially trying Widescreen 2.20 without success; I've now found I can't get 2.60 to work either.

 

The game has Heart of Winter installed, and is patched to v1.41. The Widescreen info says it ought to be compatible with HoW, so I'm not sure what the problem is.

The files that the debug text says that the mod is looking for -- ARFILE.BIF and EARE.BIF -- are both present in [install directory]\Data. Any help appreciated.

Got it working now. It turns out that the Widescreen mod doesn't just require Heart of Winter, as the documentation states; it requires Trials of the Luremaster as well (and the links to obtain Trials via Planet Baldur's Gate are broken!). I suggest that the documentation be corrected to make this clear.

Well, the Trials of the Luremaster is the latest version of the Heart of Winter(v1.42), and that's mentioned in the documentation...
