I dont know is this the right place to ask this question since play easytutu with tweaks pack and scs. I play as kensai and tryed kai ability wich does 50 dmg at the moment.I cannot track down from where all that dmg is coming from.I use two handed sword + 1, have grandmastery in TH sword and 1 point in TH weapon style.I am lvl 7 and have 19 str.On char screen all is listed are + 7 dmg from str bonus and + 1 dmg from weapon style. To my calculation using kai my TH sword +1 does 11dmg + 9 from grand mastery, + 7 from str + 1 from weapon style, + 2 from kit ability ( + 1 to hit and dmg every 3 lvl).All that is 30 dmg.Can someone please explain.

I just tested kai on enemies and its actualy does 25 dmg.The 50 dmg stated above was when i were attacking party members.Can someone pls help me with dmg calculation, also there is no any information about kensai kit ability ( +1 to hit and dmg fo every 3 lvls), as i shoud get + 2 by now

I get it now, i was confused about bonuses with masteries, i tought i get all bonuses atop of each other.For specialized i get +1 hit and + 1 dmg, for mastery +2 hit and + 2 dmg, and so on till grand mastery +2 hit and +3 dmg wich is final bonus for grand mastery, not sum of all above.

i'm also confused about GM at 7th level. does tutu not enforce the max 2 pips at creation for level 1 characters? GM shouldn't be available till 9th. (2/1,3/3,4/6,5/9)

This limitation is not enforced in the vanilla BG2 engine.

No, it's +4 from GM and +2 from being a 7th-level Kensai.
