Afaik only cowled wizards do teleport to you; many are created in sight of pc but they have no realistic time to put on defences ( like, long time trapped liches ). I think I played with SCS2 since 2007 and never used that option, might be worth a shot Link to comment

Many more than you remember teleport to you; others are immediately there when you enter a building, and are as well-able to buff as you were. I make some ad hoc allowance for creatures like trapped liches (again, fewer than you might think), but it's not perfect. Link to comment
