Noob question

Hi i bought BG2 3 weeks ago and i did notice some bugs while playing so i started to look around this site.

I installed the fixpack for BG2 and ToB and i just wonder if i did it right

That's the unpacker. Run it, and select your BG2 folder, then unpack there.

Run the WeiDU file (setup-bg2fixpack.exe), and install the mod.

Afterwards, play the game.

Wait so i open the bg2fixpack folder and take all the folders in it and put it in the same place where the other original stuff is? or should the folders stay in the bg2fixpack folder.

G3's BG2 Fixpack (for windows) is a self-extracting & self-installing mod.

All you need to do is

• download to any directory OUTSIDE of the game directory
  
• run the file (do not extract the contents)
  
• it will ask where to extract the contents, give it your game location
  
• let it extract
  
• when done it'll start the actual mod installer
  
• if ready to install continue
  
• otherwise press Q to quit when asked to install the Core component.

Oh ok thanks! The mod works now it seems.

The thing i did was that when the CMD window showed up i just typed in "Q" and tought that it was installed.
