ppw
From http://www.gibberlin...k/docs_core.php Remove Magic Not Dispelling Feeblemind Remove Magic is supposed to be the combat form of Dispel Magic, affecting only enemies. However, Dispel Magic removes feeblemind effects but Remove Magic did not. Files altered: spwi302.spl ^ I don't get the reasoning behind this. Dispel Magic is supposed to remove most all spell effects, whereas Remove Magic is supposed to remove only the beneficial spell effects from enemies and Feeblemind is not a beneficial spell effect. Wisp
The description of Remove Magic merely states that it differs from Dispel Magic in that it only affects enemies. It does not at all mention beneficial spells, or the nature of the spells to be removed. Link to comment
ppw
I'm almost positive that whenever the enemy AI cast 'Remove Magic' on my party, all of my beneficial spell effects were gone, but the bad spell effects from their spells remained. Link to comment
ppw
How about a modification that makes the spell do exactly that (work only on enemies + remove all beneficial spell effects)? It would surely make it more deserving of its description ("combat form"). Link to comment
Ardanis
It is not quite possible due to engine limitations. Link to comment
